Adams Alpine Eden is in a sunny, quiet location in the centre of Kandersteg. It has direct access to the cross country ski trails and is a 10 minute walk from two alpine ski lifts and a 1 minute walk to the nearest bus stop. Formerly the Hotel Müller, which was built in 1902, the building has been completely renovated into four luxuriously equipped holiday flats (on the first and second floors) with wall-to-wall carpeting in the living and bedrooms and stairwell, modern tiled bathrooms and kitchens, comfortable furnishings, and full central heating. The rooms are very light, most with three or four windows and each apartment has a balcony or terrace. Each apartment is provided with  an Ethernet outlet, TV, VCR and DVD player.  We are less than a five minute walk from the train station, a supermarket, butchers, bakers, a variety of small shops, and numerous restaurants. There is a large garden - 2300 square metres, with a trout stream forming one boundary. The owners (Bill & Pam Adams) live on-site in the ground floor. They have lived in Switzerland for over 40 years and speak fluent German and adequate French as well as their mother tongue – English. They have a fox-brown cat - Minnie. Kandersteg is a small town of 1000 residents situated on the north side of the Bernese Oberland at 1200 metres (4000 feet). It offers 75 kms. of prepared cross-country skiing trails and 55 kms. of winter hiking trails. Downhill skiing is available both in Kandersteg and in the surrounding valleys which are easily reached by public transportation. During the summer Kandersteg becomes a centre of mountaineering, both gentle and technical. Cabin and chair lifts help you on your way to the Allmenalp, the Gemmi plateau and the Oeschinen lake. The Oeschinen lake is one of the largest high-alpine lakes, and the  summer sledge run at the top of the lift provides fun for both young and old. High mountain hiking trails lead over the Hohtürli (2800 metres) to the Kiental, over the Lötschen Glacier (2700 metres) to the Lötschen valley, over Bunderchrinde or Bunderspitz (2400 metres) to Adelboden, and along the Gemmi plateau to the Gemmi pass (2300 metres) leading to the Valais at Leukerbad.

The apartments have been assigned names, to distinguish them from each other, according to the mountain view from their windows - Bire, Doldenhorn, Allmenalp and Blümlisalp.
